The Tawny Frogmouth - Staked or Wall Art

Found throughout mainland Australia and Tasmania, the Tawny Frogmouth is a big-headed bird (and we mean that in the nicest way possible) that’s often mistaken for an Owl. While it’s also nocturnal, it’s actually more closely related to oilbirds and nightjars. Despite perching low on tree branches during the day, Tawny Frogmouths can be difficult to spot, thanks to their colouring which allows them to become camouflaged with tree bark. Of course ours are a little easier to find.

As with all our artwork, our Tawny Frogmouth is made from high quality, laser cut steel, in this case naturally weathering cor-ten steel.
